Book

Mrs. Quinn's Rise to Fame is a wonderful book about a precious elderly British couple. The wife, Mrs.Quinn, keeps only two secrets from her husband. One being her entry to a baking show, and the other is discovered while reading ;) It's both comforting and exciting, truly a favorite.

Meal

What would summer be without weekly pasta al pomodoro and an Aperol spritz? The aromas of the sauce on the stove and the refreshment of the spritz always ensure this meal is at the top of my list. After a long day in the sun, what better way to unwind?

Movie

Matilda by Roald Dahl always has been, and always will be a fave. I recently rewatched it since one of my closest friends is creating a children's play based on the movie. It's hard to beat a happy ending and characters like Matilda and Ms.Honey.

Clothing Item

My white "We the Free Laydown Chino Trousers" have been circling in 70% of my outfits. They are low-rise with a balloon-like cut, without the excessive seams. Additionally, I purchased this multicolored scarf from a kind gentleman in the South of France. I am obsessed with the colors as well as the versatility.

Craft

There's something so liberating about sidewalk chalk in the summer. An endless canvas where I can share doodles or quotes with an array of people. I find it deeply satisfying to leave a cheerful note without knowledge of who will see it. It allows me to be creative while bringing joy to my community.

Pastime

I have recently returned from a trip where I gallivanted around Europe with my boyfriend, Ben. I've always fantasized about living in Europe, but being there with him made me so excited for the future. I often find myself daydreaming about our time in the French Alps; it truly was something special.
